in Miami area

Real
estate broker Sheila Anderson has announced the formation
of Commercial Property Services, Inc. a full-service real
estate brokerage and consulting firm located in Miami.
The
firm offers confidential professional services in commercial
and corporate brokerage and leasing, consulting, tax appeals,
site plan analysis, and site selection for local, national,
and international business clientele. Anderson has represented
national retailers, pension fund advisory funds, corporate
and private investors, land developers, and various other
types of clients in commercial transactions.
Anderson,
a licensed real estate broker for more than 10 years, negotiated
the Brickell Club lease on behalf of the tenant, an international
restaurateur and operator of five-star European hotels, whom
she continues to represent.
Active in community development issues and organizations,
Anderson headed volunteer activities for Dade Performing Arts
Center Trust, and was the sole negotiator for the Sears donation
to Dade County of a full city block for its Performing Arts
Center.
She
also served on City of Miami Zoning Task Force that drafted
the current zoning ordinance. Anderson created the definition
of "gross lot measurement" which is used to calculate
the floor area of buildings in the city.
Anderson
is an action member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce,
serving on its New World Center Action group as well as its
Omni-Venetia Committee and its Planning, Zoning, and Growth
Management Committee. She also is an active member of Builders
Association of South Florida Legislative Committee, the Brickell
Area Association, and the World Trade Center, Miami.
Anderson
moved from New York in 1957. She has resided in Coral Gables
since 1964.
